Which battery should you shortlist?

Option 1

Invicta Xero 100Ah

SNLX12V100BT

Consider Xero when the shorter case length and documented wired communication are relevant to your system. Confirm the receiving equipment and obtain an actual dealer price.

Option 2

iTechworld iTECH120X PRO

iTECH120X PRO with Bluetooth

Consider iTECH120X PRO when additional rated capacity is useful and the longer case can be installed and restrained properly. Confirm the current unit's weight and installation requirements.

Invicta Xero 100Ah: Xero SNLX12V100BT is different from Invicta Black, Compact and the older SNL12V100S. The datasheet distinguishes case height from terminal height. Its maximum discharge rating is reproduced as labelled, rather than silently relabelled as a tested continuous result. Check manufacturer details ↗

iTechworld iTECH120X PRO: The manufacturer's specification table says 13.2kg, while its quick statistics and FAQ say 12.5kg. We have not resolved that discrepancy or weighed a sample. Ask for the weight and manual of the unit being supplied; do not use a guessed figure for a weight-critical installation. Check manufacturer details ↗

Capacity and space are separate buying decisions

An extra 20Ah is useful only if the battery fits and your daily energy budget needs it. Compare the complete dimensions, including terminals, and leave room for the restraint system and a safe service position. A battery that fits the tray but cannot pass the hatch is not a practical replacement.

Use watt-hours when comparing different voltages. These two products publish 12.8V nominal voltage, so their Ah figures can be compared at that shared nominal voltage. Capacity ratings still do not establish real-world runtime without considering operating conditions and other loads.

Do you need wired battery communication?

For some owners, checking a phone is sufficient. Others want the battery to exchange information with a central display or energy system. Xero documents CAN/RS485 in addition to Bluetooth; the iTechworld source used here confirms Bluetooth. An unlisted interface should be treated as unverified, not invented.

Before paying for an interface, ask your installer to identify a supported integration, including protocol, firmware and cables. We have not measured connection reliability, app accuracy or usability for either product. Those remain reasons to request a demonstration rather than conclusions in this comparison.

Price and lifecycle claims need equal terms

A dealer may sell below RRP, while a direct online promotion can end. Ask for delivered prices and the applicable warranty documents for both exact models. Compare the same installation scope and avoid adding unrelated accessories to only one quote.

Cycle-life claims can use different depths of discharge, temperatures and end-of-life thresholds. Comparing the largest cycle number without those conditions can reverse the apparent result. This page does not convert advertised cycles into years of ownership or claim either battery lasts longer.

Common battery comparison questions

Is this the same as Invicta Black 100Ah?

No. Xero SNLX12V100BT is the specific model compared. Invicta Black has a different model code and specifications.

Which is cheaper to buy?

The observed iTechworld selling price is lower than the published Xero RRP, but a dealer quote is needed for a fair current purchase-price comparison.

Sources and comparison method

We matched the exact model codes to the manufacturer documents below on 2 October 2026. The selection advice is our interpretation of those specifications. We have not measured capacity, durability, waterproofing or service quality. We do not turn manufacturer cycle claims into a tested lifespan ranking.

Specifications, offers and warranty terms can change. Match the supplied unit to its current manual before purchase. Report a correction with the model code and source.
