Boat Battery Affiliate Disclosure

Some outbound retailer links earn us a commission. Nothing else on this site is for sale, and we declare it above the fold rather than in the footer.

Affiliate commissions and site funding

Links from our pages to retailers may carry an affiliate tag. If you buy after following one, the retailer pays us a small commission at no additional cost to you. That is the entire commercial model of this publication.

We do not sell advertising space, sponsored articles or newsletter placements. We do not sell batteries, and we have no financial interest in any battery company, distributor or retailer.

Independence of comparisons and calculators

Commission never changes what a calculator returns, where a brand lands in a comparison, which shortcomings we publish, or which product wins a use-case verdict. Several brands we recommend for particular boats pay us nothing at all, because they have no affiliate programme.

We hold no exclusive agreement with any battery company. No brand sees a page before it is published. The full rules are in our editorial policy.

Directory listing sources and verification

Public directory listings come from the linked YouSail business records. A source-linked listing does not independently verify stock, qualifications, service coverage or availability. Confirm those details directly with the provider. Location pages distinguish matching listings from wider-area contacts and local planning information.

Where affiliate disclosures appear

Australian Consumer Law and the ACCC’s guidance on influencer and affiliate disclosure require that a commercial relationship is disclosed clearly, prominently and close to the content it affects. That is why the disclosure appears at the top of the home page and on every comparison, not only on this page.

If you ever find a page on this site with an affiliate link and no disclosure, tell us. We will treat it as a defect.
