Lithium house battery comparison
Invicta Black 200Ah vs Enerdrive B-TEC Ultra 200Ah
The two models have the same rated capacity and a 200A published discharge figure. Black is lighter; Ultra documents a higher maximum charging figure, IP67 and wired communication. Compare the complete installation rather than letting similar displayed prices settle the decision.

Which battery should you shortlist?
Option 1
Invicta Black 200Ah
SNLB12V200BT
Shortlist Black when its limits and Bluetooth monitoring meet the project and its lower mass is useful.
Option 2
Enerdrive B-TEC Ultra 200Ah
EPL-200BT-12V-G3
Shortlist Ultra when its additional documented features are part of the planned system and the selected 200Ah price is competitive in a comparable quote.

Invicta Black 200Ah: SNLB12V200BT identifies this Black model. Do not transfer specifications from a different Invicta range or capacity. Maximum charge current is an equipment limit, not a recommended charger setting; use the applicable manual and complete system design. Check manufacturer details ↗
Enerdrive B-TEC Ultra 200Ah: Use the EPL-200BT-12V-G3 column of the manufacturer's table. A shared Ultra product page also describes other capacities. Confirm terminal clearance from the installation drawing; the listed case dimensions alone do not establish service access. Check manufacturer details ↗

A similar price display can hide different terms
Black's figure is an RRP and Ultra's is a dated selling price for the 200Ah variant. They are close enough that delivery, accessories or a dealer discount could materially change the comparison. Do not calculate a permanent value ranking from this snapshot.
Request quotes with the same mounting, cable, charging and commissioning scope. A battery-only figure does not capture the cost of adapting the existing boat to a new bank, and an apparently cheaper pack may not produce the cheaper completed installation.
Charge current is the important electrical distinction
Their discharge headlines match, but the maximum charge ratings are different. Check the total possible contribution from shore, solar and engine charging in the proposed design rather than evaluating each charger in isolation.
If your actual available charge current is below both limits, the higher maximum alone does not reduce charging time. Assess the charging profile and operating conditions with the applicable manuals, especially where equipment is retained from an older bank.
Choose useful features, then verify the fit
The case sizes are close enough to invite assumptions but are not identical. Include terminal clearance, the restraint and any supplied tray when checking usable space. Small measurement differences can matter near a fixed bulkhead or access lid.
Ultra lists wired communication and IP67, while Black's sheet documents Bluetooth and IP65. Whether those differences justify the purchase depends on the planned installation. Neither enclosure rating establishes that the entire boat electrical system is waterproof or compliant.
Common battery comparison questions
Do both store a rated 200Ah?
Yes. This comparison does not claim a tested capacity advantage for either model.
Can the Black 200Ah use the Ultra's maximum charge setting?
Do not copy settings between products. The cited maximum charge ratings differ, and the selected battery manual and system design govern configuration.

We matched the exact model codes to the manufacturer documents below on 2 October 2026. The selection advice is our interpretation of those specifications. We have not measured capacity, durability, waterproofing or service quality. We do not turn manufacturer cycle claims into a tested lifespan ranking.
