Half cabins running a fridge overnight.
Compatibility limits to check
You want a marine-rated enclosure out of the box.
For the brand as a whole — support network, documentation and where it falls short — read the KickAss review.
Before buying a 12V 120Ah KickAss battery
Ask for the exact model code and installation manual. Confirm the case fits through the compartment opening with clearance for terminals, cable bends and restraint. Check permitted mounting orientation and environmental limits; capacity alone does not establish suitability for a boat.
Match the battery’s continuous and surge discharge limits to your largest loads, then verify the combined charging current and the response to a BMS disconnect. For multiple packs, obtain the manufacturer’s series or parallel instructions before designing the bank.
