MPPT solar controllers
Renogy 40 A MPPT controller
The value option, and it makes most sense on a boat already running Renogy panels and batteries.
Specifications and model checks
This profile identifies a brand and rating or model family. Confirm the precise variant and current datasheet; voltage, monitoring and environmental limits can vary between versions.
| Charge current | 40 A |
| Max PV input | 100 V |
| Battery voltage | 12/24 V auto |
| Monitoring | Bluetooth module |
Suitable boat applications
Solar-first refits on a budget.
Compatibility limits to check
The install is going to survey and you need marine-grade documentation.
For how to size this against your own boat rather than against a spec sheet, read mppt solar controllers.
Sized for your boat

4 options fit — the first is the one we would fit
Before choosing Renogy 40 A
Solar array voltage and MPPT controller compatibility
A solar controller must suit the panel arrangement and the battery system. Ask the installer to check maximum input voltage under the expected conditions, current limits and protective devices. Record shading and daily yield before assuming a larger controller will produce more energy. A battery already near full can also limit observed charging output.
Confirm specifications against the exact model and revision offered by the supplier. A listed price band is a planning reference; request a current written quote with installation and commissioning separated from equipment supply.
