Head to head
Enerdrive vs Revolution Marine Lithium Batteries
Two brands an Australian boat owner will be quoted, on the things that matter once the battery is on the boat. There is no single winner here either: the answer depends on the hull and on how far you are from a dealer.

Enerdrive
The safe specification on a boat you live on. You pay a premium for the dealer network and the documentation, and on a large house bank that premium is the point.
Best for
Liveaboards and full house banks where support and certification matter more than price.
Look elsewhere if
The boat is a weekender on a trailer and the bank is 100 Ah.

Revolution
The sensible middle. Priced for a real cruising bank, with telemetry you will actually read, and a model line-up that changes often enough to complicate a later expansion.
Best for
Coastal cruisers between 30 and 40 feet buying one bank once.
Look elsewhere if
You intend to expand the bank incrementally over several years.
Battery range, support and documentation compared
| Enerdrive | Revolution | |
|---|---|---|
| Price band | $$$ | $$ |
| Origin | Australian brand, Brisbane, distributed nationally | Australian brand, marine and touring |
| Range breadth | Wide — 100 to 400 Ah cases, integrated systems | Moderate — changes between generations |
| Marine-specific line | Yes — dedicated marine range | Partly — shared with touring range |
| Support footprint | National dealer and service network | Dealers plus direct |
| Our bench status | Manufacturer specifications — independent bench file pending | Manufacturer specifications — not independently bench-tested |
| What we like | Deep Australian dealer and service network; documentation an electrician can work from. | Sensible middle ground on price with accessible telemetry. |
| Where it falls short | You pay for the distribution. Rarely the cheapest amp-hour on the market. | Model changes can complicate a later bank expansion; confirm current compatibility. |
| Best suited to | Liveaboard | Coastal cruising |
Both brands are re-checked each quarter. Where a row says claimed, we are repeating the manufacturer’s figure and have not measured it ourselves.
