Lithium house battery comparison
Enerdrive B-TEC Ultra 300Ah vs Invicta Xero 300Ah
Both publish 300Ah capacity and 300A discharge figures with wired monitoring and IP67. Xero's listed mass is 1kg lower; the case dimensions and terminal-height definitions differ. Choose around access, system compatibility and a comparable installed quote.
Specification-based comparison. We have not bench-tested these models. Prices are dated observations, not live offers. Read the manufacturer sources and editorial policy.
Which battery should you shortlist?
Option 1
Enerdrive B-TEC Ultra 300Ah
EPL-300BT-12V-G3
Consider Ultra 300Ah when its mounting arrangement and supported integration suit the boat. Confirm the selected 300Ah variant on the quote.
Option 2
Invicta Xero 300Ah
SNLX12V300BT
Consider Xero 300Ah when its footprint and terminal clearance work for the compartment and its supported communication matches your equipment.

Enerdrive B-TEC Ultra 300Ah: Use the EPL-300BT-12V-G3 column of the manufacturer's table. A shared Ultra product page also describes other capacities. Confirm terminal clearance from the installation drawing; the listed case dimensions alone do not establish service access. Check manufacturer details ↗
Invicta Xero 300Ah: SNLX12V300BT identifies this Xero model. Do not transfer specifications from a different Invicta range or capacity. Maximum charge current is an equipment limit, not a recommended charger setting; use the applicable manual and complete system design. Check manufacturer details ↗

A 300Ah case needs a handling plan
These are substantial single cases, so the access route deserves as much attention as the installed footprint. A battery can fit a locker on paper while being difficult to lower into place or remove later. Plan handling and service access before ordering.
The published mass difference is modest in the context of the complete installation. Do not let it override a poor fit or inaccessible connections. Compare the actual mounting instructions and leave room for restraints, cable bends and inspection.
A high current ceiling does not design the system
A 300A rating is an equipment specification, not a suggestion to run every connected appliance at once. The rest of the circuit, source limits and protection still need to match the intended loads. Identify the worst simultaneous demand rather than adding capacity without a load assessment.
Both list wired communication, but protocol compatibility must be established with the receiving equipment. Ask for a demonstrated integration, including the cable and firmware. We have not tested either battery's communications or thermal behaviour under sustained load.
Compare system cost and service arrangements
The Ultra figure is a dated selling price for its 300Ah variant. Xero's price is the manufacturer's RRP. Obtain a current delivered price for each before deciding what the apparent difference means for the project.
For a large single battery, ask how a warranty inspection would be handled after installation. Who removes it, where is it assessed, and what freight or labour is covered? These practical answers are more useful than assuming a brand name guarantees support at every harbour.
Common battery comparison questions
Is either 300Ah battery independently tested here?
No. The comparison uses manufacturer documents and identifies their limitations. It is not a capacity, load or durability test.
Does Xero have more capacity than Ultra?
Both models in this comparison are rated 300Ah. No measured capacity advantage is established.
Sources and comparison method
We matched the exact model codes to the manufacturer documents below on 2 October 2026. The selection advice is our interpretation of those specifications. We have not measured capacity, durability, waterproofing or service quality. We do not turn manufacturer cycle claims into a tested lifespan ranking.
